Date: April 30, 2019

We are proud to celebrate our Founder’s contribution to the community! It is of no surprise to us here at Global Hope 365 that Rima has received another prestigious award.

Congratulations Rima!

On April 20, 2019, Rima was awarded the Joseph R. Haiek Lifetime Achievement award for her longtime leadership and dedication to the civic empowerment of the Arab American community in Southern California. Rima was honored at the Arab American Civic Council 4th annual Arab American Heritage Gala themed “Building and Transforming Collective Power.” The gala was an inclusive event attended by elected officials, community members, activists, and leaders from all communities.

Below are the highlights of all of our activities in April. In addition, Rima Nashashibi does 10-15 Speaking engagements a month for small groups. Rima never passes up an opportunity to meet with people and engage. If you are able to host a networking event at your home, club, organization, or place of worship, feel free to email Rima directly.

In addition, we collected more than 400 postcards for our card campaign to elected officials during the month of April.

Friday, April 5th. Rima gave a presentation at Chapman University Law School to students about empowering women locally and globally. Additionally, students signed postcards for Global Hope 365.
